You will design and market an app game in Bloxels. Your main character will be a superhero that solves digital citizenship problems. You will create the character and at least 2 different levels. Your character needs to explain and solve a digital citizen problem. Some examples of problems your superhero could solve...
- spreads rumors about somebody else online
- someone cheats on an assignment by copying information from a website
- someone uses someone else’s password to pretend to be that person
- someone says mean things online
- someone forwards a message containing private information to someone else
- someone posts something inappropriate
- someone jailbreaks their device
- someone does not take care of their iPad and the screen cracks
- someone continuously plays games in class instead of doing assignments or participating
- someone accidentally finds an inappropriate picture online
After creating your game, you will share it with the class. Students will decide whose app they want to fund (think Shark Tank style). Your new team will spend the rest of 4th quarter (3 weeks) creating things to market the app, like video ads and logos.
