MONDAY
First, go HERE to set up your account.
Next go HERE to create a spreadsheet.
1. Click on Create.
2. Click on Spreadsheet.
3. Change the title to your last name and Thanksgiving energy
       EX: GENTRY THANKSGIVING ENERGY
4. Set the spreadsheet up as shown below.

5. Choose 8 menu items you normally eat for Thanksgiving.
6. Research how long it takes to cook them and what appliances you need. (HINT: search for recipes to check this. Try here: http://allrecipes.com/)
7. Find out how many watts the appliance uses.
     Oven: 3000 Watts
     Stovetop: 200 Watts
     Toaster: 1100 Watts
     Microwave: 1500 Watts
     Toaster Oven: 1200 Watts
8. Convert to Kilowatts (Divide the watts by 1000)
9. Calculate the cost of energy used (Kilowatts X Hours used X .12)
10. Calculate the cost of CO2 usage (Kilowatts X Hours used X 1.3)
